MTV Roadies Winners List of All Seasons [1 to 20]: Complete Journey & What to Expect from Season 21

MTV Roadies has spent more than two decades turning auditions, road journeys, vote-outs and brutal tasks into one of Indian youth television’s most recognisable reality-show formulas. What began in 2003 as a raw travel-and-adventure experiment gradually evolved through the Raghu Ram-Rajiv Lakshman era, the Rannvijay Singha years, the gang-leader format and the more recent Sonu Sood and Roadies Double Cross chapters.

The show has also proved that a Roadies title can be much more than a trophy. Rannvijay became one of the franchise’s defining faces, Ayushmann Khurrana built a major Bollywood career, and Prince Narula turned his win into a long reality-TV run and later returned as a gang leader. With Roadies Season 21, titled Roadies REBIRTH, now ready to begin, this MTV Roadies Winners List of All Seasons brings together every completed season, the major finalists and the changing face of the show.

MTV Roadies Winners List of All Seasons: Quick Overview

*Season 1 is commonly presented in older winner lists as Rannvijay Singha’s victory. However, Raghu Ram later clarified that the first season did not formally crown a single winner; contestants who completed the journey received bikes.

Roadies All Winners: Season-by-Season Journey

Season 1 – Rannvijay Singha Era Begins (2003)

Palak Johal won Roadies X: Battle for Glory by defeating Ramandeep Kaur. As a returning Roadie from an earlier season, she turned experience and a second opportunity into a championship.

Season 14 – Shweta Mehta (2017)

Season 15 – Kashish Thakur Pundir (2018)

Kashish Thakur Pundir won Roadies Xtreme after moving from Prince Narula’s gang to Neha Dhupia’s. The engineer and martial-arts enthusiast stood out for controlled task performances and resilience.

The Roadies Season 20 winner was Kushal “Gullu” Tanwar from Elvish Yadav’s gang. After elimination, an auction return and another twist before the finale, Gullu defeated Hartaaj Singh Gill and won Rs 10 lakh plus a motorcycle.

MTV Roadies Season 21: Everything You Need to Know

Roadies Season 21, titled MTV Roadies REBIRTH, is scheduled to premiere on October 16, 2026. Rannvijay Singha is back as host, but the biggest format twist is the OGs vs NewGs setup. Instead of several independent gangs, six leaders are divided into two larger sides.

The OG group features Nikhil Chinapa, Neha Dhupia and Prince Narula. The NewG group brings together Abhishek Malhan, Bani J and Baseer Ali. This creates an interesting mix: long-time Roadies strategists on one side and newer-generation reality and digital personalities on the other.

Auditions for Roadies REBIRTH were announced for Delhi, Chandigarh, Kolkata and Pune in September 2026. The new season is expected to retain the core Roadies mix of physical tasks, strategy, alliance-building, vote-outs and personality clashes while using the two-team leadership structure to create fresh rivalries.

The show is set to stream on JioHotstar and Netflix, alongside its MTV telecast, with new episodes scheduled for Fridays and Saturdays at 7 PM.

Season 21 Winner Update: The winner has not been crowned yet because the season has not started as of October 6, 2026. Once the finale airs, this section should be updated with the Roadies Season 21 winner, runner-up, winning side/gang leaders, finale result and prize details.

Key Takeaways: How Roadies Can Change a Winner’s Career

Winning Roadies does not guarantee a film or television career, but the show has repeatedly created strong visibility for young contestants. Ayushmann Khurrana is the clearest example, moving from Roadies into hosting, music and award-winning Hindi cinema. Rannvijay Singha turned his Roadies association into a long television identity, while Prince Narula became a major reality-TV name and later a Roadies gang leader.

Other winners such as Ashutosh Kaushik, Aanchal Khurana, Shweta Mehta, Kashish Thakur, Hamid Barkzi and Ashish Bhatia used the platform to build careers or audiences in reality TV, acting, fitness, modelling and social media. Even contestants who did not win – including Bani J and Baseer Ali – became major personalities, which explains why MTV Roadies Auditions continue to attract people looking for a public breakthrough.
