After the experimental buddy-pair season in South Africa, MTV Roadies returned to its familiar gang rivalry with Season 19 – but with a sharper auction twist. Titled Roadies: Karm Ya Kaand, the 2023 edition put Prince Narula, Rhea Chakraborty and Gautam Gulati in charge of competing gangs while Sonu Sood returned as host. Contestants were bought with Roadiums, alliances kept changing, and gang swaps became central to the journey.
The season ended with one of its most interesting turnarounds. Vashu Jain began the main journey in Prince Narula’s gang but later moved to Rhea Chakraborty’s side and ultimately won the title. Siwet Tomar finished as runner-up, while Prakram Dandona was the other finalist. Here is a complete look at the Roadies Season 19 winner, runner-up, host, contestants, release date and finale.

MTV Roadies Season 19 Winner
Vashu Jain won MTV Roadies Season 19: Karm Ya Kaand. He defeated fellow finalists Siwet Tomar and Prakram Dandona in the grand finale, which aired on 15 October 2023. He lifted the Roadies trophy and received prize money of Rs 5 lakh.
Vashu’s journey was especially notable because he did not finish with the gang in which he started. He entered the main journey as a member of Gang Prince, but after the season’s gang reshuffle he became part of Gang Rhea. That switch eventually gave Rhea Chakraborty a victory in her first season as a Roadies gang leader.
MTV Roadies Season 19 Runner-up
Siwet Tomar from Gang Prince finished as the runner-up of Roadies Season 19. He reached the finale after a competitive journey and remained one of Prince Narula’s strongest contestants during the season. Prakram Dandona, associated with Gautam Gulati’s gang, was the third finalist and had earlier secured the first ticket to the finale.
MTV Roadies Season 19 Host
Sonu Sood hosted MTV Roadies Season 19, returning for his second consecutive season after taking charge in Season 18. In Karm Ya Kaand, he was more than a conventional presenter. He supervised the auditions, introduced special powers and twists, and often controlled the consequences of the Roadiums-based auction system and gang changes.
The three gang leaders were Prince Narula, Rhea Chakraborty and Gautam Gulati. Prince returned as an experienced Roadies leader, while Rhea and Gautam made their debut as gang leaders in this season.
MTV Roadies Season 19 Contestants Name
Wikipedia lists 33 contestants overall for Season 19. The main Roadies journey, however, began with a Top 30 lineup divided equally into three gangs. The 30 contestants who started that gang journey were:
Gang Rhea
Manpreet Kaur, Rishabh Jaiswal, Bhoomika Vasishth, Nayera Ahuja, Tanu Rawat, Shayan Siddiqui, Shubham Chaudhary, Sachin Sharma, Abhirup Kadam, Neerja Punia.
Gang Gautam
Rupa Singh, Himanshu Arora, Nejm, Hassan Siddiquee, Pallavi Yadav, Digvijay Singh Rathee, Mallika Motiramani, Rajveer Dey, Piyu Sharma, Prakram Dandona.
Gang Prince
Lekha Jambaulikar, Priyanka Gupta, Siwet Tomar, Pery Sheetal, Joginder, Priyanka Choudhary, Ashika Surve, Vashu Jain, Prem Shilu, Gary Lu.
The broader season count reached 33 because additional participants entered through Roadies Battleground and later developments. This is why some reports refer to 30 contestants in the main journey while Wikipedia’s season record gives a total of 33.
MTV Roadies Season 19 Release Date
MTV Roadies Season 19 premiered on MTV India on 3 June 2023 and concluded on 15 October 2023. The season had 40 episodes and streamed digitally on JioCinema. Its main journey travelled from Kurukshetra towards Kaza, with stops including Patiala, Chail, Kullu and Sissu.
What Made Roadies Season 19 Different?
Karm Ya Kaand restored the gang-leader rivalry after Season 18’s buddy-pair experiment, but it added a new auction system built around Roadiums. Contestants needed support from the gang leaders during auditions before bidding determined their initial teams. Sonu Sood also held special powers that could change the outcome of the bidding and selection process.
The season later dissolved and reshuffled gangs, which changed several contestant loyalties. Vashu’s move from Prince’s side to Rhea’s gang became especially important because he eventually won the season under Rhea, while Siwet remained Prince’s finalist and Prakram represented Gautam’s side in the finale.
